Any ways to reduce male pattern hair lost without using Propecia?

Chosen Answer:

Head and Shoulders shampoo can slow hair loss, according to the July Men’s Health. Can’t find the link, but the article said it can slow hair loss by more than 10% because it cleans the scalp well. Good luck.

What is the best ways to combat oily scalp and hair loss ?

I’ve got oily scalp and hair loss. I’m now using those sebo-regulator shampoo but seems like no effect. Are there any other ways to fight oily scalps and hair loss? I have to wash my hair in the morning and at night everyday.. is it too much washing?

Any natural ways to have a healthier scalp?

Chosen Answer:

Don’t buy shampoo that has a conditioner mixed in it.This will only make your hair have more oil. When you wash your hair, wash it three times per wash. Also stress can make ones hair have more oil.If you find that it needs washing at some point during your day, but you don’t have time at that point to wash it.You can apply a small amount of baby powder to your hair, while rubbing it evenly all over your hair, and you will get instant dry hair.(Just my opinion) Good Luck, Roman

What happens if you stop taking Propecia for 10 days ?

My prescription ran out and I’m about to go on a trip. Not sure if I’ll have time to see my doctor before I leave.

Chosen Answer:

“Hair today – gone tomorrow” comes to mind. Sorry but I suspect you already knew that this was going to be the answer. You MIGHT be lucky for a few days – but 10 ??? I suggest that is pushing your luck a bit too far…

Your call though.

How much hair loss is considered going bald?

I’m a 16 year old girl. And the medication I’m on (Methotrexate, for arthritis) is causing LOTS of hair loss for me. I have very thin hair. It’s not falling out in clumps, only strands. Anyways I’m curious on how much hair I would have to lose for it to become noticeable or be considered “balding”?

Chosen Answer:

They say you normally lose 100-200 hair a day, but I don’t. I lose about 7-8 every time I brush it, so that’s about 100 per week, give or take. I guess that must be normal~

Are you sure you’re not mixing other things to cause your hair to fall out in clumps? Ex:
Supplements, steroids, hereditary, hair dyes perming, straightening, diet, having babies (yes I read once it happened to her), stress, medications with testosterone, certain antidepressants, menopause, anti-acne, and too much of everything. Add to that the 7,000 + toxic found in your home, plus pollution found outdoors.

How do I get rid of flaky dry skin with hair loss near my dogs butt and what is the cause?

My dog is a boxer/lab mix and is about 8 months old.
There is some hair loss that goes in a straight line pattern.

Could it be the type of dog food?
Could it be from a flee collar or maybe not getting all the shampoo off?

She loves water so is wet alot too.

Chosen Answer:

Could be a number of things: Food allergy, fleas, mange, environmental allergy, Thyroid problem etc…. the only thing you can do really is take him to the vet and have a complete work up done to rule out any “medical” issues and take it from there…

That being said if he has had a recent change of diet and these symptoms surfaced in coincidence with the food change then yes, it is very possible that your pup is allergic to something in the food… my suggestion to you is to put him/her on a limited ingredients diet (Wellness simple solutions and Natural Balance L.I.D are a couple of good ones) if that helps then take a look at the ingredients in your current food as oppose to the ones in the limited ingredients one… Avoid any that are not in both… Ie: Corn, wheat, Soy, Beef, chicken etc….

What can I do about extreme hair loss?

I am 21 and don’t have insurance to go see a doctor about my hair loss. I used to have very healthy thick hair and it’s been about 6 years that I’ve noticed hair loss. Recently I noticed it’s been very extreme, the front of my hair is very short and basically very thin and no hair. It won’t grow! I use Wen for my cleanser but my hair still keeps falling a lot. I would really appreciate any advice.

Chosen Answer:

Hi Nyla, sorry to hear about your hair loss but your condition seems to be a classic sign of female pattern baldness. The hair thinning that your experiencing is called hair miniaturization. This occurs because your hair follicles are genetically sensitive to the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT). This sensitivity shrinks the hair follicles, thus, produce thin hair strands. If left alone, hair become so thin it turns into fuzz or peach hair. You should be doing something right now to prevent further hair thinning/loss.

Natural hair loss treatments are best in treating hair loss. They are safe even after years of use and they have no side effects whatsoever. In fact, the longer you use them the the better they get.

Where can I buy propecia, proscar or finasteride in Toronto? I dont want to order online.?

Where can I buy propecia, proscar or finasteride in Toronto? I dont want to order online. Health supplements and medicines are something I prefer to buy in a store.

Can I get these on a prescription from my doctor?

Chosen Answer:

Yes, you sure can. Actually, this is the only way to get Propecia – Finasteride – Proscar in Canada. All these pills might not be purchased without a prescription in our country. Actually, we do not even have a generic version on our market yet. While some places do have laws and regulations that stop people from ordering medication on the Internet, there are still plenty of safe and viable options that allow you to do so. Most online pharmacies work with doctors and medical professionals that personally write and fill your prescription upon ordering. When they do this, you essentially receive a prescription just like you would when you deal locally. I have been on generic Propecia – finasteride for 11 months now. Works great. Definite regrowth on the back of my head. No improvement by the front of my head but no more loss. Exactly as advertised. I purchase it through reputable UK http://www.pompharmacy.com I would also prefer buying propecia locally and not to wait 10 days for delivery, but I simply can not afford buying propecia in Canada. Hope i helped.
