What is the best treatment for hair loss?

Anyone knows something good (not fake)for hair loss …I would like to buy something online. I am to shy to buy them in store. i don’t know if any really good. Any advice to solve my hair loss will be appreciated.

Chosen Answer:

anyway as you know – hair loss can be caused by many different reasons! Find out the actual cause of hair loss! There are many causes of loss of hair such as stress, poor nutrition ,medications, thyroid dysfunctions, illness, fungal infections ,hormonal problems, to mention a few. but anyway you can always try and get real results.

year ago my husband suffered from hair loss too and he started trying everything you can imagine to stop his hair loss. the things that really worked for him was:

1) Vitamin A – an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;

2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The ‘B’ vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;

3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;

4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);

5) also used herbal treatment.in that case Provillus is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and it is an FDA approved product. I think it is very important!

It worked and still works for him!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry Provillus but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.provillus.com/?aid=749165

good luck!

How are you supposed to count your hair loss?

If a doctor is assessing whether or not your hair loss is normal and asks you to count how much you lose each day, how do you do this? I count all the hairs that I see in the shower and on my brush and stuff, but I know I lose more than what I actually see each day. So should I add any hairs to what I see and count to compensate for the hairs I might miss counting during a day?
Or is this a little obsessive?

Hair Loss?

I know that people who go through chemotherepy that have cancer are worried about loosing their hair and they feel really self concious about it. I was just wondering why don’t they shave their head when they first start chemo so then they dont have to worry about loosing their hair becasue it will already be made into a wig, and it will look the same. It seems like it would be better to that then get a wig from Locks Of Love becasue this way you are guarenteed to get a wig and its your hair, not a strangers!! Just wondering why people dont do this…

Chosen Answer:

I shaved my son’s head this summer when he started treatment. My husband and other son and a few friends shaved theirs in support too. My son didn’t really start losing his hair until months into the treatment, so it was growing back then, and then it starting falling out in patches–in fact he could just pluck it off his head in clumps when it started falling. So we shaved it again then as he had hair falling off all over the place.

It’s enough trauma to have to face treatment, that the last thing you think about is hair. Women have really nice hair coverings they can choose from (online especially) but there was NOTHING for men…just baseball caps. That was kind of sad. He didn’t like that hanky tied around the head look. Fortunately his treatment was short (8 weeks) and his hair had grown back fully within 3 months after that.

It’s curly now whereas it was straight before!

Hair Loss?

okay so, I have naturally thick, curly hair. I’m use to a lot of it falling out every day, it’s always been that way, but now when i wash it i’m left with clumps of hair on the side of the tub! i’m only 15, and really nervous about this. is there anything i can do to help my hair stay strong and not fall out as much? thanks.

Chosen Answer:

For hair loss you can try this remedy. Mix 1 egg, 2.5 tablespoons milk powder and 1 tablespoon wheat germ oil. Massage on the scalp and leave it for 30 minutes. Wash with a mild shampoo.

Chosen Answer:

Propecia will not work! it works only in very rare situations!!

My doctor prescribed me Propecia for hair loss…does it make hair grow back?

Is it better of worse than Rogaine? What have been your experiences? Have you used it in conjunction with rogaine?

I tried asking her for the generic prescription for Proscar (finasteride), but she refused saying it would be insurance fraud. Maybe I’ll have more luck with another dermatologist.

Also, about how much does Propecia cost? Is it cheaper to just use Rogaine?

Chosen Answer:

Some people have had relatively small results with Propecia. Some haven’t had any results whatever. Once you stop using it – you lose what you’ve gained. Many guys spend a small fortune trying to outrun baldness with creams, lotions, pills, wigs, weaves & transplants – but – in the end – they still must accept the inevitable & get on with the rest of their lives. Genetics rule – you cannot re-program genetics. Life is not always the way it’s supposed to be. It’s just the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.

Hair Loss??

What causes hair loss?
I use to have thick, silky hair but then startin this year it got thinner

And is there any way to style short hair?

Chosen Answer:

id say that stress is probably a major factor in hair loss. are you worried a bunch about school, etc? Hormonal stuff could be the problem too, like hyper or hypothyroidism.

lol idk about the styling short hair, since i have pretty long hair

Does anyone use Propecia/Proscar to stop balding and hair loss?

Does anyone use Propecia/Proscar to stop balding and hair loss?
I am concerned about those who actually are or have taken the drug and had a luck with it. Did it really cause any side effects or no?

Any irrelevant internet rumors or trolls will be reported. Thank you.

Chosen Answer:

Try searching on YouTube. To be sure ask the doctor if it is safe for you. One cannot ignore the fact that people have different genes. Read some reviews on it too. But I prefer mostly on YouTube seen first hand experiences of people who tried it.
